This will be more natural for you and your child will hear many words and sentences.</li> <li>Be face-to-face when you talk with your child. This will help them see how to make sounds and words by watching your lips, tongue and teeth move.</li> <li>Read to your child. Choose books that they like and read them over and over again!</li> <li>Sing songs and nursery rhymes. Sing the same songs and nursery rhymes often during your day.
